Happy new year…Is it ok to say that still? Well regardless, I did it and I’m sticking by my words. Ever get sucked into a marathon of a show you’ve never watched before? My friend Andrew does it all the time. Well, it happened to me today and darn you Firefly. You owned my day. At least it quality programming and not Real World vs. Road Rules…again. Seen me a bunch of films recently. Saw “Dick and Jane” … yawn. Saw “Broken Flowers” … Yawn again, but an artsy yawn. Finished watching “Gummo” … Man I want that time back. I should have known better considering “Kids” is at the top of my worst films list just above “Crash” (the older one, with Patricia Arquette). Yes, they are far worse than “Down to You,” the bar for terrible standards. Speaking of terrible, I watched the first episode of “Four Kings” last night. If NBC really wanted to make a show about KINGS they know who to call.

In other news, NBC is promising lots of video content for the ipod. This is great news, however I can certainly foresee some craziness ahead. While I’m not a proponent of ipods in general (and if I were to buy a portable media player it’d be along the lines of Cowon or iStation) providing media online is such a big step that could only be taken via a company like Apple.

King Kong opened today, but I got to see it almost two weeks ago. Here’s my review.
